Built in Denmark the Great Dane was designed by Klaus Baes as a blue water cruiser capable of getting you anywhere you wanted to sail. Three-Quarter keel straight through passage and accommodations for five make her a sea-going family cruiser. On deck we have an open cockpit with blue canvas dodger twin guest seating with under-seat lockers mainsheet post with compass and full-beam helm seat with additional storage. She's equipped with gold anodized mast and boom with stainless steel rigging. Five sails are included: large genoa IOR genoa small jib storm jib and spinnaker. Auxiliary power is provided by a dependable Volvo 25-hp diesel engine. The interior is good-looking well-finished teak with comfortable accommodations. The salon is open with facing settees dining table and full galley. The galley is aft with teak cabinets to either side two-burner gimballed stove top loading ice box and food lockers.
